Simplinx Remote Connection Unit
There are 3 Ethernet inputs on the device. Two of them are for local device connections (LAN) and one is for internet connection (WAN).

DHCP is active by default on the WAN input.
Default IP information for service and settings;
- IP Address: 192.168.169.254
- Subnet: 255.255.255.0
- Web Interface: http://192.168.169.254:3000

2 Port Ethernet Switch
The Ethernet outputs reserved for LAN are switch-featured. You can also use these outputs to communicate with your local devices (such as PLC and Panel).

Wireless Connection
You can connect to the internet using wireless networks (check out Accessories)

Wireless Accesspoint
Wireless Accesspoint can also be used to program your local devices. You can download/upload to your devices such as PLC using wireless accesspoint.

Phone Hotspot Connection
You can connect to the internet using the hotspot feature (USB + Wireless) of your SMX-RNS phone.

LED Notifications
- READY Led: Device Ready
- ONLINE Led:
Continuously ON: Internet available
Blink: Active connection to the device

Proxy Support
- Can make remote connections via SMX-RNS proxy server. (Firmware V2.4.0 and above)
- You can make proxy settings from the web interface.

Serial Port Support
- SMX-RNS supports up to 4 serial ports (RS-232, RS-485) (Firmware V2.4.0 and above)
